Astral Travel and Out-of-Body Experiences

November 17th, 2008 by Sirius Lee

Speaker and author William Buhlman discussed the latest research on astral travel and out-of-body experiences (OBEs). During these experiences a person moves into a dimension of existence apart from the physical world. He enumerated many benefits that can be gained during OBEs, like acquiring direct knowledge about one’s existence rather than just adhering to a belief system, recharging the body by accessing the etheric plane, and communicating with deceased loved ones and family pets. But he also pointed out the natural evolution in an OBE is to slowly lose human form and become a globe of consciousness with 360 degree views.

Kudos to Coast to Coast AM, William Buhlman and Out-of-Body.com for this excellent interview. Thanks, too, to Alien Deceptions and eyezbback for uploading this to YouTube.

Lost Knowledge, Past Lives and Extraterrestrials

November 17th, 2008 by Sirius Lee

Past-life regressionist Dolores Cannon discussed her recovery and cataloging of “Lost Knowledge.” Using a hypnosis technique she developed herself, she takes clients into the deepest level of trance, into a kind of “universal consciousness.” In this state, she gleans information from them about their past lives, extraterrestrials and the metaphysical realms. She also spoke about 2012 in terms of being a dimensional shift into the “New Earth”, and touched on her work with Nostradamus, who she believes she communicated across time with, and who told her the future is not set in stone, but there are certain “nexus points” (events or personalities) that have to happen.

Kudos to Ozark Mountain Publishing for this excellent interview. Thanks, too, to Alien Deceptions and eyezbback for uploading this to YouTube.

Evolution and the Mayan Calendar

November 12th, 2008 by Sirius Lee

In this December 19, 2007 radio interview, Barbara Hand Clow discussed her book, The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind and correctly identified 2008 as a particularly trying year with stress, economic hardships and crime coming to the forefront. She talked about a global cataclysm around 11,500 years ago that so traumatized us, we became a violent species as a result. Yet we’re headed for an evolutionary leap, and by 2013, humans are going to start flowing with the frequency of nature, and peace will finally have come to our planet, allowing us to resume interacting with the universe at large.

Kudos to Coast to Coast AM and Barbara Hand Clow for this excellent interview. Thanks, too, to Alien Deceptions and eyezbback for uploading this to YouTube.

The Urantia Papers

March 11th, 2008 by Sirius Lee

The Urantia Book (also referred to as The Urantia Papers or the Fifth Epochal Revelation) is a spiritual and philosophical book that discusses God, science, religion, history, philosophy, and destiny. It originated in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., sometime between 1924 and 1955, but its authorship is considered to be a mystery.

The writers introduce the word Urantia as the name of the planet Earth and state that their intent is to “present enlarged concepts and advanced truth” in an “endeavor to expand cosmic consciousness and enhance spiritual perception”. Among many other topics, it expands on the origin and meaning of life, describes humankind’s place in the universe, discusses the relationship between God and people, and presents a detailed biography of Jesus.

The Urantia Foundation first published The Urantia Book in 1955 in English. Translations into numerous languages are available, with several new translations in process.

In 2001, a United States jury trial in Oklahoma found that the Urantia Foundation’s 1983 renewal of the book’s copyright was invalid. This decision was upheld in the United States Court of Appeals 10th District, and the English version of the book is considered to have entered the public domain in the U.S. as of 1983. In 2006, the international copyright on the English text expired.

A copy of The Urantia Papers has just been added to the library. You can download it from the Apocrypha section.
