How are sciences, mysticism, spirituality interconnected?

The simplest way to explain their interconnection is that the sciences, mysticism and spirituality are just different ways by which man seeks to understand the world/universe/reality he exists in. The sciences explain quite well the workings on the physical plane, while mysticism and spirituality deal with the mechanics of the non-physical realms. As man advances in knowledge and wisdom, the sciences expand to incorporate elements that are traditionally considered to be mystical and spiritual, such as in the case of quantum physics.

There are whole lot of missing links in the results of classical science investigations. Like how do you explain the dark matter in the universe with Newtonian Physics or how do you explain the asymmetry of matter and antimatter in the visible universe?
But there is no such unexplained phenomenon in Occult Science. It explains the connection between science, mysticism and spirituality quite successfully. And I found this book “The Snake And The Rope” quite successful in explaining the Occult Science.
